FC Aland

FC Åland is a football club from Sund, Åland. The club was formed in 1992 after the merger of IFFK and Sunds IF (SIF). The team reached its present form in 2012, when Hammarlands IK and IF Fram merged their men's first teams with SIFFK. At the same time the team changed its name to FC Åland. The first team mostly played in the forth-tier of football in Finland but also played in the third-tier in 2016. At the end of the 2023 season they announced that they whould shut down their senior team to focus on their youth teams. Their place in Kolmonen was taken over by IFK Mariehamn.

Az FC Åland egy finn labdarúgóklub, melynek székhelye Mariehamn városában, Åland autonóm területén található. A csapatot 1995-ben alapították, és jelenleg a Veikkausliigában, a finn labdarúgás első osztályában szerepel.

Az FC Åland hazai mérkőzéseit az Eckeröhallenben játssza, amely 1 634 férőhelyes fedett stadion. A csapat színei a kék és a fehér.

Az FC Åland legnagyobb sikere a 2016-os finn kupagyőzelem. A csapat 2005-ben és 2017-ben is bejutott a kupa döntőjébe, de ezeket a mérkőzéseket elvesztette.

Az FC Åland nemzetközi téren is rendszeresen szerepel. A csapat képviselte Finnországot az UEFA Európa-ligában, az UEFA Konferencia-ligában és az Intertotó-kupában.
