Cashmere Technical

Cashmere Technical is an association football club based in Christchurch, New Zealand. It was formed in early 2012 from the merger of two of the city's premier teams, Cashmere Wanderers and Woolston Technical. The two clubs had agreed to work together in early 2011, and the 2011 Christchurch earthquake which devastated their home city and resulted in the loss of many playing facilities hastened their merger into a combined side.

Cashmere Technical play in the Mainland Premier League, and have won the Chatham Cup twice as Cashmere but also once as Christchurch Technical Old Boys.

A Cashmere Technical egy új-zélandi labdarúgócsapat, amely Christchurchben található. A Canterbury United Premiershipben játszanak, amely Új-Zéland legfelsőbb osztályú labdarúgó-bajnoksága. A klubot 1968-ban alapították, és blue and white színekben játszik. A Cashmere Technical hazai mérkőzéseit az ASB Football Parkban játssza. A klubot jelenleg Willy Gerdsen irányítja.

A Cashmere Technical legsikeresebb időszaka az 1980-as évek elején volt, amikor megnyerte az Új-Zélandi Nemzeti Labdarúgó Ligát 1982-ben és 1983-ban. A klub megnyerte a Chatham Kupát is 1982-ben és 1983-ban. Az utóbbi években a Cashmere Technical a Canterbury United Premiership középmezőnyében végzett.

A Cashmere Technical több nevezetes játékost is kinevelt, köztük Chris Woodot, aki Új-Zéland válogatottjában játszik.
