Club Atlético Villa Teresa, is a Uruguayan football and cycling team club based in Montevideo. It was founded in 1941.

History

In 2011 Villa Teresa achieved promotion from Segunda División Amateur (third level) and returned to the Professional Second Division of Uruguay.

Villa Teresa egy uruguayi labdarúgóklub, amely Montevideóban, Uruguay fővárosában található. 1917-ben alapították, és a Primera Divisiónban, Uruguay első osztályú labdarúgó-bajnokságában játszik.

A Villa Teresa stadionja a 10 000 férőhelyes Estadio Olímpico, amely Montevideo Prado kerületében található. A klub hagyományos színei a kék és fehér, és becenevük a "Gladiadores" (Gladiátorok).

A Villa Teresa több jelentős trófeát is nyert, köztük hat másodosztályú bajnokságot és két harmadosztályú bajnokságot. 2011-ben a klub története során először jutott fel az első osztályba.

A Villa Teresa ismert néhány kiemelkedő játékosáról, többek között Nicolás Vigneri, Sebastián Fernández és Matías Zunino. A klubot jelenleg Carlos Rodao vezeti.
