Wikipedia - Oberliga Baden-Württemberg

The Oberliga Baden-Württemberg is the highest association football league in the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Baden-Württemberg football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier.

A Német Oberliga Baden-Württemberg a német labdarúgás ötödik ligája és a legmagasabb regionális liga Baden-Württemberg tartományban. A bajnokságot 1978-ban alapították, azóta nyolc csapatból áll, amelyek mindegyike 34 mérkőzést játszik a szezonban. A bajnok automatikusan feljut a Regionalliga Südwestbe, míg az utolsó két helyezett kiesik a Verbandsligába. Az Oberliga Baden-Württemberg egy népszerű liga, és gyakran nagy tömeg látogatja a mérkőzéseket. A bajnokságban több sikeres klub is szerepel, köztük az SSV Ulm 1846, az FC 08 Villingen és a Karlsruher SC II.
